Fortress: The First Source code release!
The first set of Fortress source code has been posted to SunSource.net and is available
now for download by the Open Source Community at http://fortress.sunsource.net/.
Fortress is a next-generation programming language tailored for
scientific computing. The goal of Fortress is to do for Fortran
what Java did for C. Congrats to the whole Fortress Team.
