Tis the season for 'best of 2007' lists - best new artist, best album, best track etc.  Taking  a cue from Stephan Bauman and his Emotional Music Recommendation work, I've decided to skip the usual categories and give my top music goosebump moments of 2007.  These are the moments where I had extreme emotional reaction to the music - where the hair on the back of my neck would stand on end.  These moments are few and far between, only 3 of them for 2007:

What was your top musical goosebump moments of 2007?

Comments:

Johnny Cash playing Will Oldham's "I see a darkness" (which is from 2000, but I didn't hear it until 2007)
and for some reason Paul Scollay playing "She Moved Through the Fair" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LIPvODwCkU ).
One of my all time top goosebump moments has to be (I hate to admit it) John William's "Duel of the Fates", especially about 3/4 into the piece when the entire orchestra comes back in.

"goosebumps" tag radio at last.fm is always interesting to listen to:

Aaah thanks Paul , you are already working for me :) gathering content for our open goosebump platform, I promise you to tell you when it will be online!!! Looking for a good "brand name" ...

But here the answer

- John Legend: P.D.A, great piano into, funky groove, lyrics about the times when I was young and hot :)

- Fotos: Bilder im Kopf, young and angry german pop band singing about what is going on in your head when you lost a girlfriend, very clichy, great reminds me of them all

and even some of my own amateur songs kicked me last week :)

Great year to you PAUL!!! still the best MIR-related blog ...
